The employees of the Customs Academy participated in the meeting of the management held within the framework of ECAR

The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) was represented at the meeting organized for the project managers of the "Establishment of Rectors Conference in Azerbaijan" (ECAR) project, implemented in the activity category "Capacity Building in Higher Education" within the framework of Erasmus+ program funded by the European Union (EU).

The meeting, organized by the Baku Business University (BBU), was attended by Elvin Majidov, the coordinator of international cooperation and projects of the Academy, the head of the ECAR project, and Leyla Najafova, the specialist of the additional professional education department.

At the meeting, which was also attended by the representatives from other partner higher educational instituions of the project, ECAR project coordinator Gulshan Bayramova and the participants discussed current issues related to project management in partner universities, the organization of internal trainings, planned foreign training trips and improvement of activities implemented within the framework of work packages.

The partnership of the Customs Academy in the ECAR project was reviewed by the project consortium during 2021, and in December 2021 the European Education and Culture Executive Agency accepted joining of the Academy to the project as a beneficiary and adopted the corresponding amendment to the project’s grant agreement. In February 2022, the participation of ASCCA in the project was registered by the Ministry of Justice. Baku Business University is the coordinator of the project funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program of the EU. The project is managed by a consortium consisting of 18 Azerbaijani higher education institutions, 7 full partner institutions from EU countries (Belgium, France, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland) and 4 associated partner institutions from EU countries.
