A meeting was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8. The management and staff attended the meeting. The head of the Academy, General Major of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, congratulated the female employees of the Academy on this occasion and wished them good health, happiness, and success in their activities. He also conveyed the congratulations of the chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov, to the female employees of the Academy.

In his speech, Novruzov highlighted the unique role of women in our society and mentioned Mehriban Aliyeva, the first vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who represents the women of Azerbaijan at the highest level with her irreplaceable services both in our country and abroad. He also emphasized the attention and care of the state towards women in our country, and acknowledged the important contributions women make to the cultural, pedagogical, and scientific life of the country.

At the end of his speech, Gulu Novruzov expressed his sincere and heartfelt wishes to the courageous mothers and wives of the martyrs who exhibited exceptional fortitude, sacrifice, and unwavering determination during the Patriotic War. He also expressed his deep respect and honor for the remarkable women, including the female employees of the Academy.
