A masterclass titled “Monetary Policy and Central Banking in a Changing World: A Historical Perspective and Development Trends” was held at the initiative of the Student Scientific Society of the Academy of the State Customs Committee.

The session featured economist and leading advisor of the Social and Economic Analysis Department at the Center for Social Research, Punhan Musayev, as the keynote speaker. He delivered a comprehensive presentation to students, covering key macroeconomic indicators, the main directions of monetary policy, the role of central banks in the economy, and the policy of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan as a case study.

Throughout the training, participants actively engaged in the discussion, posed numerous questions on the topic, and exchanged ideas on the practical implications of theoretical knowledge in the field.
