ASCCA hosts a training for customs officers

On November 24-25, a special training was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee for the employees of the relevant structural divisions of the territorial and specialized customs administrations.

 

The training was jointly organized by the Academy of the State Customs Committee and the General Department  of Intelligence and Investigation.In general, 39 customs officers attended the training.

 

The  training was conducted by Novruz Hajiyev, the Deputy Head of the Investigation and Research Department of General Department of Intelligence and Investigation,  Ilkin Bagirov, the Head of the Investigation Department of the Investigation and Research Department and Sahin Huseynov, head teacher of the department of "Law and Humanitarian sciences" of the Academy.

 

Making an opening speech, the head of the Academy, Major-General of Customs Service Gulu Novruzov welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of the training organized for the purpose of increasing the professional training of customs employees, improving and developing both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills. Novruzov advised the participants to learn the topics in depth, to get the maximum benefit from the training, and wished each of them success.

 

The training participants were informed on  "Rules for packaging and delivering to responsible storage the precious metals and stones, jewelry, national and foreign currency in cash, securities and other items taken as material evidence by customs authorities during the preliminary investigation ", "Probes and samples of goods during customs control, including the collection and proper packaging of crime objects as material evidence in accordance with criminalistic tactics" and other topics. The questions of the participants were answered in detail.

 

At the end, the knowledge of the training participants was assessed.
