ASCCA holds Graduation Day

The Academy of the State Customs Committee held the "Graduation Day" for the 2022/2023 academic year.

The event began with a one-minute silence commemorating the dear memory of our heroes, who rose to the height of martyrdom for the sake of ensuring the territorial integrity of our country, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Speaking at the event, the chairman of the State Customs Committee, lieutenant- general of the customs service Shahin Bagirov said that the strategic goals determined by the architect of independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, for the purpose of establishing and developing the customs system, along with the far-sighted, purposeful policy implemented by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr Ilham Aliyev in this direction led to the formation of customs bodies as one of the important state institutions that have an important role in protecting the national and economic security of our country. The chairman also noted that the graduates of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, which has been operating since 2014, successfully represent Azerbaijan not only in our country, but also abroad, acquiring modern knowledge and skills in their fields of activity in a short period of time.

Speaking at the event, the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, major-general of the customs service, Gulu Novruzov, made a speech and congratulated the graduates on the occasion of the remarkable day, pointing out that that the period of their education mainly coincided with the glorious and historical time after the glorious Victory won by our people in the Patriotic War under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr Ilham Aliyev. Talking about the activities of the ASCCA, G. Novruzov expressed his gratitude to chairman of the State Customs Committee, the lieutenant general of the customs service, Mr. Shahin Bagirov, and academy staff for their constant support in the training of highly qualified personnel, as well as to parents of the graduates for their commitment in the fulfilment of this honourable mission. He once again heartily congratulated all the students sincerely for becoming graduates and wished each of them success in their future activities.

Deputy Minister of Science and Education Idris Isayev, Vice-President of BP Company for Communication and External Relations in the Caspian Region Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli delivered speeches about the comprehensive state care given to education in the country and described created conditions at the ASCCA and achieved results as a consequence of it.

Later, teachers, parents and graduates took the floor and made speeches by emphasizing the fact that ASCCA makes important contributions to the education system of the country by educating future specialists with comprehensive knowledge based on modern educational methods.

Speaking at the event, said that the Customs Academy prepares specialists who acquire comprehensive knowledge based on modern educational methods and that this educational institution makes important contributions to the education system of our country.

Following speeches, students were presented with graduation certificates.

Of note, ASCCA has 100 bachelor's degree graduates and 8 master’s level graduates for the 2022/2023 academic year.

In the end, the musical composition prepared by the graduates was shown.
