A meeting was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) with the next group of participants enrolled in the initial professional training program for customs officers. The traditional orientation meeting, organized to familiarize participants with the structure and procedures of the training program, was attended by the Academy's management, faculty members, and trainees.

Welcoming the participants, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, Head of the Academy, spoke about the effectiveness of the training program. He highlighted the importance of the professional training program in strengthening the knowledge, skills, and competencies of customs officers. Providing an overview of the training curriculum, he emphasized the value of the knowledge and practical experience participants would gain throughout the program and wished them success in their studies.

The initial professional training program is being conducted in two groups consisting of customs officers and will continue for five weeks.
