Today marks the 14th anniversary of the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA). The Academy was established by Order No. 1972, signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on 24 January 2012, on the basis of the Training Center of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. ASCCA is a special-purpose state higher education institution that delivers higher and additional education programmes and conducts fundamental and applied scientific research.

ASCCA currently offers five undergraduate degree programmes: Law, Economics, International Trade and Logistics (taught in Azerbaijani and English), Information Security, and Information Technologies (taught in English). At the master's level, the Academy offers programmes in Customs Affairs and International Economic Law. In addition, second higher education programmes are available in Law and International Trade and Logistics.

The Academy also organizes professional development programmes for customs officers to enhance their professional knowledge and strengthen their competencies. The educational process incorporates innovative teaching methods and modern technologies, with extensive use of the World Customs Organization's online courses, e-learning modules, and international certification programmes.

ASCCA continues to maintain its strong performance in student admissions. By consistently attracting high-achieving applicants, the Academy makes a significant contribution to preparing highly qualified professionals who combine modern expertise with a strong commitment to national and moral values.
