The Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA) held its 2024/2025 Graduation Ceremony at the Baku Youth Center. The event brought together the leadership and staff of the State Customs Committee and ASCCA, Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Idris Isayev, Members of Parliament Azer Amiraslanov, Tahir Mirkishili, Fariz Ismayilzade, Rizvan Nabiyev, and Azer Allahveranov, senior representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court, the Baku Youth Center, Uniser Group, Cybernetics, Coders Azerbaijan, PRO LOG International Training Center, Codelandia Training Center, GAIS, MALWATION, PEYK's Azerbaijan branch, Xploit Ethical Hacking Academy, the Azerbaijan Freight Forwarders Association, other public institutions, as well as families of martyrs, war veterans, ASCCA faculty members, and students.

The ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's territorial integrity.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov, spoke about the state's continued support for science and education, the Academy's achievements over the past 11 years in preparing highly qualified specialists who meet the demands of the modern era, and the opportunities created for students. He noted that the youth policy founded by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, together with the extensive initiatives of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva in support of young people's education and development, has created broad opportunities for raising a knowledgeable, patriotic, and highly skilled generation. He encouraged the graduates to fulfil their responsibilities with dedication and continue to develop as highly qualified professionals, contributing to the future prosperity of the victorious nation.

The Chairman also expressed his gratitude to the mothers of martyrs for raising patriotic sons, as well as to the Academy's faculty members and the graduates' parents, and wished all graduates every success in their future careers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Almaz Gasimova, mother of martyr Mukhtar Gasimli, congratulated the graduates and expressed her appreciation for the care and support extended by the state and the ASCCA community to the families of martyrs and war veterans.

Deputy Minister of Science and Education Idris Isayev, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industries and Entrepreneurship Azer Amiraslanov, and Head of ASCCA, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, highlighted the comprehensive state support provided to education in Azerbaijan, emphasizing that the conditions created at the Academy and its achievements are clear examples of this commitment. They wished the graduates continued success in their future careers.

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Ali Gurbanov, the Academy's top graduate, expressed his gratitude to the Academy's leadership and faculty members for the knowledge and experience he gained during his studies and congratulated his fellow graduates on this memorable occasion.

Graduation certificates were then presented to the graduates. Students with outstanding academic achievements, including the Academy's top graduate and the top graduates in each degree programme, were also recognized.

It should be noted that 134 undergraduate students and 8 master's students graduated from ASCCA in the 2024/2025 academic year.
