Next Scheduled Meeting of the Academic Council of the Customs Academy Held
A next meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA). The agenda included the results of the 2025/2026 academic year's autumn semester, the establishment of a self-assessment and evaluation system for the Academy’s training and educational programs, the approval of master's thesis topics and academic supervisors, the results of the mid-semester examinations, preparations for the winter examination session, and other current issues.
The Head of the Academy, Chairman of the Academic Council, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov welcomed the participants and informed the Council members about the issues included on the agenda of the meeting.
During the meeting, Islam Huseynov, Head of the Department for the Organization of Educational and Methodological Work, delivered a report on the activities carried out during the autumn semester of the current academic year and on the organization of the educational process.
Elvin Majidov, the Coordinator for International Cooperation and Projects of the Academy, spoke about the importance of establishing a self-assessment and evaluation system aimed at improving the quality of the training and educational programs at the academy.
Jamila Namazova, the Deputy Head of the Academy for Research Affairs, presented a report on the approval of master's thesis topics and academic supervisors, as well as on the research activities of the academy.
Afterwards, Abilkhan Isayev, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, informed the participants about the results of the autumn semester mid-semester examinations and the key tasks related to preparations for the winter examination session.
Following the presentations, the members of the Academic Council and the heads of the relevant structural units expressed their views on the agenda issues under discussion.
At the end of the meeting, decisions were adopted on the issues discussed, and the heads of the relevant structural units were assigned the necessary tasks.
