ASCCA and BEU Co-organize 10th International Scientific Conference

The Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA) and Baku Engineering University (BEU) jointly organized the 10th International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The event began with a moment of silence in memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan's martyrs, followed by the performance of the National Anthem.

In his opening remarks, Aghasi Malikov, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Issues at BEU, emphasized the significance of the conference for young researchers, noting that more than 520 papers from various countries had been submitted to this year's event.

Speaking at the conference, Professor Jamila Namazova, Deputy Head of ASCCA for Scientific Affairs, highlighted the role of innovative technologies in science and education.

Professor Serik Sansyzbayev, Doctor of Economics and Professor at Turan University of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also stressed the importance of the conference in promoting international scientific cooperation.

The plenary session followed, featuring presentations by Humeyra Mustafayeva, Head of the Department of General Subjects at BEU, on "Baku as an Example of Multicultural Architecture in the Late Nineteenth and Early Twentieth Centuries," and Asif Ganbayev, Associate Professor at the Department of Information Technologies and Technical Sciences at ASCCA, on "The Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Customs Activities."

The two-day conference, covering more than 25 scientific fields, continued with parallel section sessions.
