ASCCA Students Take Part in “Cyber Summer School 2025”
Students from the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) participated in the “Cyber Summer School 2025”, organized by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (AKTA). First-year student majoring in Information Security, Nazrin Tahirzadeh, along with second-year students Malik Jamalov and Mobil Mardi, represented the Academy at the event.
The summer school brought together 130 participants from Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Training sessions were hosted at the Baku Higher Oil School. Participants engaged in daily intensive training sessions, practical exercises, expert meetings, and masterclasses. A key highlight of the program was the “Capture the Flag” cyber competition, which challenged students with real-world cybersecurity scenarios. Training was conducted in both Azerbaijani and English, and students were divided into “Red Team” and “Blue Team” groups to tackle different scenarios.
In addition to the main sessions, side events included the Cyber Education Forum and masterclasses led by members of the Cyber Diaspora.
The six-day program concluded with a closing ceremony at the Baku Higher Oil School.
It should be noted that the project aimed to develop skilled professionals in cybersecurity, raise awareness among young people, and promote international collaboration and networking in the field.
