"The Role of the Court in Ensuring the Rights and Freedom of Man and Citizens" , an event was held jointly organized by the Binagadi District Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty". The event was attended by the leadership of the Academy, teachers, students, the chairman and judges of the Binagadi District Court.

First, the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our republic.

Delivering opening speeches, the head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, and the chairman of the Binagadi District Court Sheyda Maharramova emphasized the importance of the event in terms of increasing the legal knowledge of young people, and spoke about Heydar Aliyev's role in building a legal state, the effective state policy implemented by President Ilham Aliyev, and the reforms carried out by the Judicial-Legal Council.

Later, a video dedicated to the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" was shown.

Then, Farda Jabbarli, a teacher at the Academy, delivered a speech on the topic "Guarantees of judicial protection of rights and freedoms in the formation of a just society."

The judges of the Binagadi District Court Anar Rzayev and Aytekin Ibrahimova conducted trainings on “Judicial power and means of its implementation: in the context of constitutional, criminal, civil and administrative court proceedings” and “Right to liberty: the rights of persons arrested, detained and accused of committing a crime as a fundamental constitutional principle”.

At the end, the students’ inquiries were answered by the trainers.
