Martyr Customs Officer Ulvi Hajiyev Commemorated
On 5 December, the memory of Ulvi Hajiyev, a customs officer who was martyred during the 44-day Patriotic War, was commemorated. On the day of remembrance, the leadership, staff, and students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA) visited the martyr’s grave, laid flowers, offered prayers for his soul, and paid deep respect to his cherished memory.
The Head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the martyr’s family and wished them patience. He stated that the memory of the brave sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives and fearlessly faced death for the sake of our state independence and territorial integrity will always be held in high esteem.
