ASCCA signs MoU with Almaty Management University
The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) was represented at the VI Meeting of the “Rectors Club: Central Asia+” organization, hosted by the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) in partnership with the Almaty University of Management, in Baku. The Head of the Academy, the member of the Rectors Club, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov took part in the event.
At the opening of the event, ASOIU Rector Rufat Azizov welcomed the participants and delivered a keynote speech. The meeting, which brought together leaders of prestigious universities from several countries and international experts, discussed ways to respond to global challenges in higher education. Topics such as preserving the local identity of universities, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and expanding international cooperation were at the forefront of the discussions.
At the end of the event, meetings and signing ceremonies of cooperation documents aimed at developing partnership relations were held. In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation was signed between the Academy of the State Customs Committee and Almaty Management University.
Almaty Management University, known as one of the leading institutions of business and management education in Central Asia, is distinguished by its international accreditations and innovative approaches. The memorandum envisages cooperation in the areas of transport, logistics, sustainable development, innovation, exchange and joint research.
This step will strengthen the strategic partnership between higher education institutions of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, contributing to the opening of new opportunities on a regional and international scale.
