The commemoration event was held to honor the memories of martyrs, Lieutenant Colonel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Guliyev Rashad Rashid oghlu, who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the 44-day Patriotic War, and Mammadov Bahmen Farman oghlu, a martyr of the 1st Karabakh War. The event was held at the Central Officers' House named after Hazi Aslanov. The family members, relatives, comrades-in-arms of our martyrs, representatives of various state institutions and other participants, as well as employees and students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee attended the event.

Making a speech, the Head of the Secretariat of the Academy, Azer Seyidov, stated that our martyrs deserve eternal respect. He expressed his deep condolences to the family members of the martyrs, wished them patience, and said that the memory of our brave sons of the motherland , who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our state independence and territorial integrity will always be honored.
